Separate a connection from an approval

Connecting an app, signing a message and granting token access may be separate steps. Read the actual request and on-chain record rather than relying only on a “connected apps” list.

Record three essential details

Identify the token, authorized spender and allowance. Compare the requested access with what you meant to do. Approval interfaces can differ between networks and tokens, so check the relevant protocol documentation.

Treat a query as an evidence starting point

Public tools show information found within their own coverage. The absence of a displayed approval does not establish the absence of every risk. Decisions about changing settings require the wallet’s official instructions, the actual transaction and your circumstances.
