The announcement
MetaMask introduced Advanced Permissions in a 6 April 2026 announcement. The system lets users approve defined actions for a session account, with constraints such as the asset, amount and duration. The description connects permission requests under ERC-7715 with delegated execution using ERC-7710.
What changes for users
A bounded permission can reduce repeated prompts for an agreed activity. That convenience also makes the initial consent screen consequential: later actions may occur within the permission without a fresh approval each time. MetaMask describes management and revocation through its dapp-connection controls.
How to evaluate a request
Translate the request into a plain sentence before accepting it: which application may do what, to which asset, for how much, and until when? If any part is unclear, postpone the grant. Keep separate records for delegated actions and ordinary token allowances, because cancelling one kind of permission may not address another. This announcement concerns an EVM authorization design; it does not describe TRON Owner or Active permissions. Wallet Beep is reporting the published design and has not independently audited the implementation.
